There’s definitely no equivalent!
Terrific! When I think if Irving Berlin, I love the flow of patriotic songs: Irving Berlin did not like our National Anthem. He thought “The Star Spangled Banner” was far too difficult to sing. Therefore, he wrote “God Bless America”. Woody Guthrie did not like Berlin’s “God Bless America”, so he wrote “This Land is Your Land”. One song inspires the next. Thank you, Irving Berlin.
She was always absolutely FABULOUS. I enjoyed her so very much. A wonderful, multitalented woman.
