      Yes! If his acceptance speech at the Baftas is anything to go by, I suspect he might be on his way out. Sad.

    I didn’t watch the BAFTA ceremony, but I have always enjoyed listening to Mel Brooks, and watching some of his films, especially ‘The Producers’. This was a good article, and covered so much of his life.

      I’m glad you enjoyed it. I only watched half of the Baftas and tend, these days, to avoid award ceremonies. Seen one, you’ve seen ’em all!

        I got tired of all award ceremonies after the speeches became more important than the work being honoured.
