I should have visited Stratford at the same time of year as Sue. I made the unwise decision to visit once during August, ( a long time ago) and found the town swamped with tourists, and as busy as a crowded street market. I left to visit Ann Hathaway’s cottage, but when I saw the queue to get in, it was more than I could bear.
